Holywell Child Care

We are a privately-owned day nursery offering high quality care and education for babies and children up to the age of 12 years. Our opening times are Mon- Fri 7:20am – 6pm, we only close for bank holidays and one week at Christmas. We consider our setting to be a home from home.

We are situated off the main road in a large modern detached house which has been decorated and converted with up to date safety facilities including CCTV coverage throughout.

Registered with CSSIW since 2003 offering care for up to 45 babies and children.

The setting consists of three units - Babies, toddlers and Pre-school this enables us to offer suitable equipment and activities for the babies and children for their age and stage of development.

We offer the team excellent working conditions and staff benefits which shows in our low staff turnover. At least half of the team have been at the setting for over 10 years. As well as providing all the mandatory training such as first aid, manual handling and food hygiene, we encourage and support the team to update their knowledge in child care and education, many members of the team have progressed over the years to hold higher qualifications in their professional practice.

After school club and holiday club is offered for children up to 12 years old at our other setting situated in the local school in Greenfield which is also registered with CSSIW as HCC @ Ysgol Maesglas.
